Mud Ranger Sun Chlorella

Amanohashidate is located in the northern part of Kyoto facing the Sea of Japan. It is known for being one of the three most scenic spots in Japan. In order to maintain the pristine white sandy beaches and pine trees with the green colored leaves, the Kyoto Civil Engineering Division has invited people to join the "Amanohashidate Mamoritai" association or group to become volunteers.

A call for volunteers was broadcasted on the radio. Employees at SCC heard the announcement and 6 of them volunteered and have formed a group called "Doronko-tai" or Mud Ranger. Their first project was to clean up the beach and collect pine leaves filling a 2-ton truck. This project was communicated to the public via a website from the Kyoto Prefecture Office and also in the Kyoto New Paper.
