Pregnancy and eating habits (1)
There are numerous matters to consider once pregnancy occurs. One important issue is eating habits. Often our bodies are deficient in iron and calcium; this is also prevalent in expecting mothers. Salt intake and even weight gain needs to be monitored and regulated. Pregnant women need to become conscientious of the foods they are consuming. Newborn babies are immunologically immature and are very susceptible to atopic allergies especially when ingesting allergic substances, like eggs or milk. Ingesting small amounts of various chemical substances could cause severe risks for developing allergies. Therefore, the best option is to eat chemical-free and additive-free foods.
