The inheritance of the future (1)
Reproductive abnormalities all over the world
Lately, there have been reports that state a decrease in the number of sperm in the male species. Typically, more than 50 million sperm exist in one ml of a normal man’s semen. A man with less than 20 million sperm in a ml of sperm has oligospermia, which could cause the inability to conceive. Recent research shows that approximately one out of every two men has less than 50 million sperm per one ml of semen. Also, the sperm has seems to have decreasing abilities of movement which leads to lack of conception.
The decrease of sperm is a worldwide phenomenon and this change over the past decade could cataclysmic. If the phenomenon gets worse, it could eventually lead to the extinction of human beings.
The same phenomenon is happening to various creatures all over the world. For example, 80% of bald eagles in Florida lost the reproductive ability in the mid1950’s. In addition, more than 60% of female alligators in various lakes in Florida have genital abnormalities.
