The new logo, introduced on June 1, 2026, reflects the Group’s commitment to future growth and a unified global brand identity.
Background of the Logo Renewal
Since its founding in 1969, Sun Chlorella has supported people’s health through its health food business centered on chlorella products. In recent years, the company has also expanded its initiatives in the sports field, supporting Ran Takahashi, a member of Japan’s national volleyball team and Kyoto native, as well as serving as the main sponsor of the professional basketball team Shiga Lakes. Through these activities, Sun Chlorella continues to strengthen its connections with sports, wellness, and local communities.
The newly redesigned logo inherits the brand’s signature tri-color concept representing the “gifts of nature”:
- Sun Chlorella Red |Sun
- Sun Chlorella Blue | Water
- Sun Chlorella Green | Earth
while enhancing visibility, including the tagline, and expressing the company’s future growth, energy, and strength.
The new logo has been developed in two versions: a “standard type” primarily for corporate use, and a “square type” optimized for social media and digital platforms. This will enable consistent brand expression across a wide variety of media and communication environments.
Toward Greater Brand Unity
Along with the logo renewal, the company will also establish new “Creative Guidelines” aimed at unifying overall brand communication.
Moving forward, Sun Chlorella will progressively refresh not only advertisements, websites, social media, videos, and promotional materials, but also product packaging, in order to strengthen and unify the brand image both in Japan and internationally.
Born in Kyoto and committed to supporting health for generations, Sun Chlorella will continue evolving as a global brand for the next generation while striving to contribute to people’s health and a richer future.
