Sun Chlorella’s Anti-Doping Orientation
The necessity of anti-doping
Over its 50-year history, Sun Chlorella has continued to research and develop products that contribute to everyone’s health. Organic and natural foods have been attracting attention in recent years, and this may be even more important for athletes when we think of the issue of doping. Doping problems often occur at major international tournaments. Intentional doping is a behavior that goes against sportsmanship, but there have been some unfortunate cases in which athletes use a supplement without knowing it contains ingredients that are subject to doping. To support all athletes for maintaining their condition and aiming for their best performance without worries, Sun Chlorella has obtained “Informed-choice”.
The future of anti-doping
Sun Chlorella does not believe the doping issue is only a problem for a few top athletes. We are worried that the doping issue will happen to us, and everyone who loves sports is under the threat of this issue. In these days, we can purchase conditioning products online which athletes use. It is quite easy for us to get products which are not assured their safety, but the risk of doping is increased. Sun Chlorella would like everyone to maintain their health by themselves at ease. We will continue to offer our products and a healthy life so that everyone can enjoy sports and brighten future of sports.
Informed Sport and Informed Choice
What is Informed Sport and Informed Choice?
Informed Choice is the anti-doping certification program established by LGC (Laboratory of Government Chemist) in the U. K. since 2007. LGC tests sports supplements in accordance with the anti-doping regulations established by WADA.
The Informed Choice certification process requires the product analysis, the evaluation of all raw materials in manufacturing factories and the audit of manufacturing facilities.
Informed Choice is well known in Europe and Japan, and LGC has concluded partnership agreements with a lot of organizations such as Australian Football League and Rugby Football Union in England, Scotland and Wales. Besides, it receives a high evaluation as an objective index for efforts toward anti-doping and the assurance of the quality of raw materials and products.
After a product is certified, analysis is carried out based on the established regulations, it is continuously tested for quality control. Test results are published on the website, so everyone including athletes and customers is able to browse it.
